The Algerian American Chamber of Commerce USA (“AACC-USA”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through aacc-usa.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you submit through our forms: membership and board applications (name, email, phone, professional background), business directory listings (business details, logo, website, social media), contact messages, event RSVPs, and newsletter subscriptions. We also keep account information for members of our portal (email, role, and profile details you choose to add).
2. How We Use It
We use your information to review applications, operate the member portal and business directory, organize events, respond to your messages, and send chamber communications such as newsletters and event invitations. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. Public Information
Approved business directory listings are displayed publicly on this website and in the member portal, including the business name, description, location, website, logo, and social media links you provide. Personal contact details on applications are never published.
4. Where Your Data Lives
Data is stored securely with our infrastructure providers: Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (website hosting), in data centers located in the United States. Access to member data is restricted to authorized chamber administrators and staff.
5. Emails
Chamber emails are sent from contact@aacc-usa.org. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe; you can also opt out any time by emailing us. Transactional emails (such as account credentials and password resets) are sent only when you or an administrator initiates them.
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep members signed in to the portal and back office. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Choices
You may ask us to correct or delete your information, withdraw a directory listing, close your portal account, or unsubscribe from communications at any time by emailing contact@aacc-usa.org. We respond to every request.
